How We Are Organized
The Sourcing Institute Foundation, Inc. is organized for the purpose of leveraging the training resources developed by The Sourcing Institute, Inc. to aid unemployed and underemployed individuals in finding productive employment by replacing obsolete skills with skills currently in demand by employers. The Sourcing Institute Foundation will offer need- and merit-based full and partial scholarships to attend the same high quality sourcing and recruiting training offered by The Sourcing Institute to its corporate clients. Upon successful completion of training, individuals will receive recognized credentials that will identify them as experts in the field of sourcing, recruiting, and leadership. To fulfill its purpose, The Sourcing Institute Foundation, Inc. has organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Affiliation With The Sourcing Institute, Inc.
The two owners of The Sourcing Institute Foundation are Shalom Steckerl and Robert Delp. Mssrs. Steckerl and Delp are also majority co-owners of The Sourcing Institute, Inc.. Therefore, The Sourcing Institute, Inc. and The Sourcing Institute Foundation Inc. are related by common control. The Sourcing Institute is a pass-through for-profit corporation that will provide the coursework to be used by the Foundation to achieve its mission. As such, they both receive salary income and pass-through income from The Sourcing Institute which is and is expected to continue to be their primary source of financial support.
